Follow-through
Along the path
“Paul’s spirituality was, however, never a kind of permanent attribute, possession, or achievement; it was renewed again and again from within. . . never fixed and finished, it is a spirituality that journeys from stage to stage … his is not a spirituality of the monastery, but of the road”
David Bosch in A Spirituality of the road
Making your Day of Prayer and Vision an experience a part of every-day life is key to continued growth in godliness and ministry effectiveness. David has been an inspiration to believers throughout the centuries. Despite his failures, he was a person “after God’s own heart.” As you depend on God, moment by moment, each day of your life, you can follow his example. “Praying backwards” through your day is one technique which can help you to integrate what the Lord has told you in your daily life.
Now its time to put the finishing touches on your Day of Prayer and
Vision journal. Maybe you have always journaled or perhaps you have
gained a new spiritual discipline. Whichever the case, continuing to
journal is well worth your time and effort.
