When I’m at a crossroad

"The Christian life is a journey. Therefore do not wait for great strength before setting out, for immobility will weaken you further. Do not wait to see very clearly before starting: one was to walk toward the light. Take this step! Perform this act! You will be astonished to feel that the effort accomplished, instead of having exhausted your strength, has doubled it, and you already see more clearly what you have to do next."
Philippe Vernier in With the Master

You might not have a perfectly clear picture of what the Lord wants you to do yet. Don't wait until you see things clearly, God wants you to begin to obey Him now.
Here's some encouragement to move toward God's will as you begin to implement decisions.

King David has been an inspiration to believers throughout the centuries. Despite his failures, he was "a man after God's own heart". You can continue to grow as David grew by consulting God - in even the small things.

Another way to stay dependent upon the Lord is to pray backwards through your day, becoming more aware of how God is, indeed, an active participant in your daily life.

When the decisions that you have made these past few days are challenged by life-as-it-was, re-reading your Day of Prayer and Vision journal will remind you of what God said and the process involved in the decision(s) you made. Don't stop now! Continuing to journal will keep you focused as you move back into life in the new direction God has led you!
