Day of Prayer and Vision

"Thou hast made us for thyself, and our souls are restless until they find their rest in thee."
Saint Augustine

This is the day you have reserved for the Lord and you. Consider leaving your mobile phone and laptop behind - and any other thing that is prone to distract you.

Perhaps an entire day alone sounds daunting. You can start by spending an hour in prayer, and then see where the Lord directs you from there.

Sometimes silence can be overwhelming. Nevertheless, quietness prepares you to meet God and allows Him to shape and mold you.

Today, your Day of Prayer and Vision journal will be an important tool as you record your thoughts and insights. Remember, your journal is not for publication. Don't worry about punctuation or spelling. These nuggets of gold you've "panned" for are more valuable than gold. Writing them down helps you not to lose them.
